ren lupus veröffentlichte am 08. Dezember 2024 sein neues Studioalbum „139/11“  Nach einer Reihe Projekte, darunter das Debütalbum „505“ und das Mixtape „Morgengrauen“, zeigt ren mit „139/11“ erneut seine künstlerische Vielseitigkeit und Experimentierfreude. „139/11“ ist ein mutiger Schritt in eine neue musikalische Dimension, in der ren lupus verschiedene Genres miteinander verbindet. Das Album, welches nun seit 3 Jahren in der Entstehung ist und ausschließlich von ren lupus produziert, sowie gemixt und gemastered wurde, vereint Einflüsse aus Post-Punk, Hip-Hop und Breakbeat und schafft so einen einzigartigen Klang, der sowohl herausfordernd als auch fesselnd ist. Mit seinen tiefgründigen Texten, die Themen wie eine eigene Überdosis, das Verlieren wichtiger Menschen und weitere schmerzhafte Erfahrungen behandeln lädt ren die Hörer ein, in eine klangliche Landschaft einzutauchen, die zum Nachdenken anregt und Emotionen weckt. Seit seinem 11. Lebensjahr produziert ren Musik und hat sich seit 2013 zunächst auf Beats spezialisiert. Ab 2017 begann er, eigene Projekte zu veröffentlichen, die schnell die Aufmerksamkeit der Musikszene auf sich zogen. Seine Zusammenarbeit mit dem Stuttgarter Rapper Lucky L hat zu einer Vielzahl von gemeinsamen Mixtapes und EPs geführt, darunter „808’s und Akteneinsicht“, „Sachschaden & Selbstmitleid“ sowie die EP „Dreckig & Tight 1“. I really enjoy just Jamming around on my modular, trying out some stuff and if im lucky hit the rec button in the right moment. The songs in this compilation mean a lot to me, they may seem simple in their structure & and most of them really are but some how that’s the beauty in it for me. I experimented with tapes and tape loops in different lengths, speeding them up or slow them down and tried for the most part only to use the gear had laying around.
